If the 14V AC is functional you should hear an audible pop sound when you turn the game on. is that fried or pitting/chunks missing from the contacts? then that will need attention because if it's bad enough you have no power going in there. pop the edge connector off and inspect the board edge. obviously test the fuses first, and if one is bad, you replace both. it's pretty normal to have the contacts where the 7V AC go in to be scorched, or the return for 7V AC (ground). as these are 40 year old games now the old fuse holders are pretty spectacularly terrible now, they won't conduct the power efficiently and make the edge connector/board edge super hot. each pair of fuse holders are for 14V AC (for audio amplifier) and 7 V AC (for generating +5V to power the game board). Pac-Man hardware is powered by AC voltages off the transformer on the right in the bottom of the game with 4 fuse holders. you can turn the red/green/blue bias knobs and tint the picture those colors and completely rule out that being at fault. Board is getting 24v at D3/D4, 14v at D7/D8, and 130 volts at T-91 on the chassis. All of my transformers checkout voltage wise. So far I have recapped the pcb, chassis, new flyback, and new ribbon cable to daughter board. If you have trouble logging in, click login, and then 'Forgot Your Password?' Picked up a Ms.Pacman a few weeks ago, (80625-3),and have started the process of repairing it.

If you have changed your password in the last 6 weeks, you will likely have to change it again as we likely changed it today. This is likely to impair the proper functioning of some main site functions until Sunday. Note: We temporarily set an agressive application firewall on the main site while we continue our review. Also, we will be forcing users to pick complex passwords moving forward. In an abundance of caution, we have locked a dozen accounts that have had email address changes in recent history (we will contact them this weekend), as well as a larger number of users that have changed their passwords in the past 6 weeks (all or almost all these changes are legit, though it is possible another account was breached - especially if an 'easy' password was used.) We will post more about this on Saturday. It's actually like it was designed for a lefty.Updated 3/25/22 7:15 AM PST: The state-of-the-nation is pretty good, but 2 user accounts were breached (apparently with password credentials found elsewhere, as at least one of these 2 users at his account breached on similar sites). Though the layout of the Bandai one is quite awkward for the non-pac man games on it thanks to the bizarre placement of the buttons.

(since Jakks didn't renew their license of the IP, Bandai is doing it now).

If you are not upgrading a multicade, but rather a classic game with its original game circuit board, you will also need to install a CGA to VGA. For more about the safe handling of a CRT monitor, read this page. Even more of a laugh when you can walk into Wally-world, plunk down a twenty and walk out with a 12 game system of basically the same thing released by Bandai. In any event, the neck of the picture tube should be broken.

Sad part is some jackasses are asking hundreds of dollars for these on Amazon in the blind hope someone who doesn't know any better will bite - when they were being shoveled out on pharmacy end-caps for $10 or less each just five years ago. While somewhat cool to have, they're really not that hard to find and still hover between $5 and $20 on e-bay depending on the title and wear/tear. That's the one that also has Xevious, Pole Position, Mappy and Galaga on it, right? *Zooms in* yeah I can almost make out the Xevious and Mappy stickers, should be pole position and galaga stickers on the other side. Such devices sure as shine-ola didn't even exist in the 1980's. Just to be clear the GAMES on that might be copyright '82, but that Jakks plug and play unit you have there is circa ~2003ish.
